 Friendship Manor is a modern, secure, one-bedroom, 123 apartment complex for the low income elderly or disabled individual. We are located in Lincoln, IL at 925 Primm Road. Just across the street from Lincoln High School.
Our residents are comprised of 62 years and older single or married or disabled individuals and must be able to meet our eligibility obligations. We use our basic income levels because our building was constructed under an agreement with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development under Section 8 of the National Housing Act specifically designed for very low and extremely low income senior citizens.
Proposed monthly rents are comprised of approximately 30% of the total monthly income of all residing in the apartment. A utility allowance is then deducted from the 30% income figure.
Water and trash, plus an allowance for utilities are included in the monthly rent. Telephones and Internet connectivity will need to be installed and paid by the resident. Local classic cable television is available from  Insight for $20.00 per month.
Each apartment features carpeted living rooms, halls and bedrooms. The kitchen and bathroom feature vinyl flooring. The kitchen comes with an electric range and refrigerator. Each apartment has its own air conditioning and heating controls for your personal comfort. Each apartment has a smoke alarm and access to each apartment is from a secure, interior hallway. The apartments feature ample closets and storage space. The interior and exterior walls offer excellent sound control. The entire complex is protected by an emergency alarm system.
 Friendship Manor offers FREE off-street parking for the residents and their guests.
There is a coin operated laundry facility within the building for residents to do their laundry.
Friendship Manor offers an extensive library including video tapes and audio books.
There is an on site grocery store for your convenience.
Everyone needs to look their best, so Friendship Manor offers a fully staffed beauty salon.
When you don’t feel like cooking the Food Service program serves a noon meal every Monday through Friday and Sunday in our dining room. There also is a complete community room with a dance floor available where monthly social events with live music are held.
All entrances have security locks and the front entrance also offers a phone entry system. The facility is staffed 24 hours a day and elevators are provided for access to all 5 floors.
A 26-passenger bus is provided for the residents to visit shopping centers  and entertainment venues within the Lincoln Community.
